Just wanted to share my favorite poem with you. It was written by a High School girl who just happens to be my daughter.

Water - Chani Ore

At times it flows, without resistance
Gentle, Peaceful, Mild
Yielding to the will of natural force

It takes not an effort
Nor a nudge, nor a push
Calm, Deep, and Tranquil
It draws you in

Caressing the earth, and bringing life to all it touches

Other times it pounds down in a torrent
Falling in a wild rush
Foaming white in the haste of its own passion

It shapes the land around it
Sweeping you along
With its powerful hand
and stealing your breath

Passionate, Strong, Powerful, Awe-Inspiring, It can break or build the world

(Dearest Reader, If you learn nothing else in life
Learn to love like water)
